We’re delighted to share this update to our valued investors from the Aethir Node Alpha Sale.
Aethir nodes became operational on the 12th of June 2024 when the token generation event took place. Our Alpha deal nodes started generating $ATH rewards the following day.
Our Alpha investors also received a bonus airdrop of $ATH tokens at the same time equalling approximately 1650 $ATH tokens per node.
Reward Vesting
$ATH rewards generated by the nodes during the first 120 days are vested for 120 days. After this period the default vesting changed to 180 days.
At the time of Aethir Node Sale in our app, SwissBorg planned to distribute $ATH Rewards from nodes quarterly, approximately one month after each financial quarter, because there were many unknowns about how the rewards would be distributed and of any potential penalties.
Recently SwissBorg decided to distribute rewards to users every month on the 10th of each month or the first business day after the 10th, to give investors their rewards more often, which we consider an improvement. This period will start from 10th of December 2024.
In practice, this means that instead of receiving rewards 4 times per year, users now will receive rewards 12 times per year.
Rewards generated from 26th June until 12th August will be paid as a batch on the 10th of December. From 10th December on all Rewards will be paid monthly.
