Frequently asked questions
Yes, with one exception. A Corporate Account has the same SwissBorg features as an individual account: buying, selling and exchanging crypto with Ranks cashback on fees, Smart Send, Crypto Bundles, Earn, Auto-Invest, top-ups by bank transfer or card, and account statements. The exception is the SwissBorg Card: card spending is for individual accounts only. A Corporate Account also allows you to grow your cash and benefit from potentially more advantageous tax treatment than a private account, and you get a dedicated advisor for personalised support in managing your account.

Cash management is a key issue for any business, and companies often hold cash that earns little or nothing. Allocating part of it to crypto-assets adds a different asset class to the treasury and gives access to Earn strategies with a yield that varies with market conditions. Crypto-assets are volatile: their value can fall as well as rise, and a yield is never guaranteed. Your relationship manager walks you through the risks before you allocate anything.
Yes. Companies can open a corporate account with SwissBorg to buy, sell and hold crypto in the company's name. Onboarding is guided by a dedicated relationship manager, and account statements support your local tax and accounting requirements.
Fill out the application form and a relationship manager will guide you through the corporate onboarding. Once verified, you can fund your account and start managing your company's crypto in the SwissBorg app.
No. The SwissBorg Card is for individual accounts only, so a corporate account can't order it or spend with it. Topping up the corporate account by card still works.
Yes. From the corporate account you can receive crypto, pay suppliers and partners with Smart Send, exchange between crypto and fiat, and withdraw fiat to the company's bank account. Treasury features such as Earn and Crypto Bundles sit alongside these in the same account. We don't provide IBANs, invoicing or payroll.
Yes. The SwissBorg web app at app.swissborg.com gives the corporate account the same features as the mobile app, so your finance team can work from a desk.
